Pastor Jonathan and his wife Tatum are originally from Tallahassee and have been in full time ministry for over 17 years. Pastor Jonathan attended Southeastern University and graduated in May of 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministries. Tatum attended Tallahassee Community College where she graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2002. They were in Ft. Walton Beach, FL for 7 years as Associate/Youth Pastors and in Marianna, FL for over 10 years also as Associate/Youth Pastors. They have three children Caleb, Luke and Kiersten who are their greatest blessings! They are so excited about God calling them back to Tallahassee to launch Fresh Life Church Tallahassee. They know that with the team that God has surrounded them with great things are in store for Tallahassee and the kingdom of God!
Shannon and Kimmy Mercer

Shannon grew up in Marianna, FL . He has a Masters degree in Counseling and Psychology. He first felt the call to lead worship in his youth group while in high school. Since then, he has served and led worship in some capacity. He has been a worship pastor for over 5 years now faithfully following the call of God. He and his wife Kimmy have three kids and currently live in Tallahassee. Shannon is passionate about creating an environment where the congregation can experience God in a greater and more powerful way!
Ethan Strickland

Ethan is from Marianna, Florida where he grew up under Pastor Jonathan and Tatum as his youth pastors. He graduated from SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary with a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies with a Concentration in Youth Ministry. He has also received his Masters Degree in Practical Theology from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Ethan is passionate about seeing the next generation impacted by the power of the gospel and is excited to see that here in Tallahassee!
Taylor Ard

Taylor is originally from Macon, Georgia but was raised in Tallahassee, Florida. She graduated from the University of Mobile in Alabama with a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministry with a minor in Theological Studies. She is currently working on her ordination through the Assemblies of God. Taylor loves children and teaching them the word and love of God. She has lots of energy and passion and is so excited to see kids grow in their faith!
Trent and Tiffany Hatcher

Trent and Tiffany are originally from Marianna Fl, where they served as youth sponsors for Pastor Jonathan early in his Marianna ministry. Trent and Tiffany were called to Fresh Life Tallahassee at its inception to dream big dreams and see the Kingdom of God proclaimed in Tallahassee. Trent and Tiffany live in Crawfordville south of Tallahassee where they are raising their three children Cole, Rex, and Heidi. Trent is passionate about small groups and the impact they have in our community and in our individual lives. Trent wants to create and disciple a community of people who want to impact their community for Jesus together.

After moving from Oklahoma in 2022, she lives in Crawfordville with her husband, Jason, and their son, Austin. As the volunteer coordinator at Fresh Life Church, she is passionate about serving others and being an encouragement to those she gets to serve with!
Melissa and Rob Parlin

Melissa is originally from San Diego, California, but has called Tallahassee home since 2012. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida, where she also met her husband, Rob. Together, they have followed the call of God on their lives and served in various ministry and leadership capacities for over 24 years. They have two adult children, Robbie and Mariah. Melissa is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God and is currently working towards ordination. Her heart is to see each person in God’s family encouraged, supported and living out their God given purpose. She considers it an honor to walk alongside people through the joys and sorrows of life.
